Cannot remove duplicate entry from TN393 "unregistered scientists" section

Hello,

Is there a way to remove a duplicate scientist from the UNOLS cruise site after they've already accepted the registration invitation? One of the students coming on TN393 (Genevieve Kent) received the invite on both her UW email and her gmail account, and unfortunately accepted both invites after having some initial issues filling out her registration.

She's fully registered now under "purplemango547@gmail.com". However, I can't get rid of her UW account (genevk@uw.edu) in the "unregistered scientists" section. I tried having her update her profile to move it to the registered section and then clicking "remove," but it just dumped the account back into the unregistered section.

Can the duplicate be removed, or should I just leave it there in the unregistered section?
