Looks good to me under the assumption that it will be kept up to date and the suggestion that someone runs the testsuites on it for the next release.

There is on change to simfactory as a whole namely removing the --perms option which would seem to give rise to a danger of not transferring the x bit of say sim but that does not seem to happen when I try this with comet.

One suggestion in the pull request, fine to be included though.
