(scuse for my english, i'm french)

Is it possible to add movement with the wiimote or nunchuk ?
for exemple, with the game Sonic, the jump button can be replace by a
movement of the wiimote to the up. With the game aladdin, jump with a
movement to the up, sword with a movement to the left or right and thorw a
apple with a movement to the left or the right with the nunchuck.
Is it possible to add this option in the options ?
thx

This feature request could be expanded to include per-ROM controls; movements of the Wii controller could then be included in a more generic manner.

I think the simplest way to implement this feature would be for the emu to read the Wiimote or Nunchuk's "shake", when it prompts for a button press.

Although, personally, I'd find it easier to use if a Mega Drive button could be mapped to just "shake anywhere" rather than "shake left", "shake up", etc...

Imagine that you want to map the HIT button to "Wiimote shake" and the MAGIC button to "Nunchuk shake". If the emu differentiated between "shake up" and "shake down", many of the times you shaked the controllers wouldn't register as HIT or MAGIC, causing you to damage the enemy less than you should have, or accidentally missing the possibility of wiping all the enemies from the screen in time, because you shaked the Nunchuk upwards rather than downwards.

Also, in any case, with the emu prompting once for each key, it just wouldn't be possible to implement the "shake right OR left" from the first post's example.

Hey, Just coming back to this after a while. Really would like to be able to play Ground Zero Texas with the WiiMote instead of using the dpad to move the cursor on-screen. This would make this game great! Any chance to map the dpad to the wiimote or has this been done already? Need to load up the latest version of the wii app. THIS WOULD BE AWESOME! Because other Digital Pictures games would come back to life. Only if we could cleanup the video more of those FMV classics. Anyways, I really appreciate all the hard work you've all put into this. This brings me and my friends back!

Lightgun emulation through Wiimote is there from the first version with Sega CD support, you just need to properly assign controllers in emulator input settings menu.

you sir are a scholar and a gentleman. I haven't had time to test it, but spent so many hours with a friend back in the day playing these games. especially ground zero texas, and fumbled through the controls because it was so much fun. and cheesy! this will make those games so much better! if someone seriously remastered these, you would not believe the fan-base that actually exists. we're a rare bread. a weird breed. ANYWAYS, THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARD WORK.

Since this request has been bumped anyway... I was wondering if at least adding "shake" as a button mapping is still in consideration?

Even after more than 5 years, I still think that it would be really cool to punch the enemies in Streets of Rage by "punching" with the Wiimote, and maybe even jumping by shaking the Nunchuk.
