Freeze Problems On Startup

Hi there, I downloaded 1.5.0 but whenever i start up the program it either freezes after around 30 seconds or it goes to the 'Exception (DSI) Occurred' screen. I can't even get to the load game screen. This is obviously quite frustrating and I've been looking around for a solution but can't find one which is why I thought i'd leave a message here.

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Load Homebrew 2. Load Genplus 3. 30 seconds (roughly), it freezes or goes to DSI screen.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Well would obviously like to just run the emulator but as mentioned, the screen freezes or goes to DSI screen.

What version of the emulator are you using (official, SVN revision,...)? The 1.5.0 download from this site.

Please provide any additional information below (Video settings, Console region,...) I'm using a PAL Nintendo Wii, 4.1e. I've also tried re-downloading the file, and re installing it a few times now but that doesnt make any difference.

Thanks for any help you might be able to provide me, any other questions you may need I will try to answer but my knowledge of this kind of stuff is minimal at best :/
