Issue #277 duplicate
Former user created an issue

Original [issue 277](https://code.google.com/p/genplus-gx/issues/detail?id=277) created by Albert.Kissmann on 2012-09-22T17:45:51.000Z:

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1.Go to Menu 2.Save/Load 3.Save to State 1

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Complete Wii System freezes while it shows "saving.." on average one of five saving processes fail like this. the others are fine. It doesnt matter which game. Ive also tried 2 other SD Cards. Other Emulator like NES or SNES dont fail saving. I\`ll attach my config File..

I speak German, too. So if theres anyone who can help me both languages are welcome :)

What version of the emulator are you using (official, SVN revision,...)? The one from genplus-gx-1.7.0.7z

Please provide any additional information below (Emulator settings, Console setting,...) attached my config file

2 in a row, what for a coincidence

sadly, there is nothing i can do for you, format your sdcard with different cluster size and try again

which clusersize would u recommend? 32k seems to be the standart.. any idea why this happens to me and not to anyone else who is using 32k clustersize? :D

no idea, 32K should be ok it doesn't happen for me and the majority of people so I can only guess it's an incompatibility with your sdcard, the state saing routine really doesn't do anything special and anyway, always do the same thing, s random crash is likely caused by hardware inconsistency

have you tried reformatting like I said ?

any brand should work, it's probably another issue but i cannot help you, as i said i cannot reproduce this issue and a "freeze" gives no hint of what caused it, could be anything but i really doubt it's a bug in the emulator or something i can "fix"

try with the dol posted here and see if it makes any difference : http://code.google.com/p/genplus-gx/issues/detail?id=196\#c75
