Sega Mode1 and AudioCD support needed.
Some hacks like Rock_n'_Roll_Racing_Hack_v15_alpha_r6 and Sonic1Mode1.bin have own audioCD in bin/cue format and play music from AudioCD.

Genplus-gx play music from CD in Pier Solar, but can't use AudioCD bin/cue for Rock'n'Roll Racing and Sonic. It would be very useful for homebrew. Then UMK will be support PS1 MKTrilogy CD-DA tracks, etc.

    see my answer here Issue287

the problem is not cue/bin support in mode 1 ( they load perfectly fine if you change extension to iso) but the fact emulator expects first track to be a data track with sega cd id string. Pier solar does not use audio tracks by the way, only data track.

the whole cdd emulation is later based on that, adding support for audio cd would need to rewrite whole bunch of that and i do not want to it for a few hacks i never am going to play.

It's a pity cause in real hardware this hacks is working fine, but this emulator is positioned as most accurate. By the way Rock n Roll Racing is very cool hack it even without CD music.

Music in RRR stops when the commentator says something. With AudioCD there is no this problem. And alternative music on CD (There are four types of a soundtrack) much better than original.
Works well on real hardware and Kega Fusion. But on consoles there is no alternatives for Fusion.
Modders will start to add Mode1 support in games if such possibility is supported by emulators. Only real hardware and Kega Fusion support it. But Kega Fusion don't support Ultimate Mortal Kombat Trilogy Hack (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omX39JD94ng), etc
