Passing this on from an RetroArch Android user who used Genesis Plus GX - feel free to disregard it if you think this is not something you want to look into -

Is there any way I could request a feature? I don't believe its a very large request but it would make me very happy!

Could you add to your SEGA emulator support for roms 10+MB in size? I have a game from http://umk3.hacking-cult.org/eng/index.htm and it will only run with this addition to the emulator. The game does start up and I can watch the demos, but once I press start the game locks up and kicks me out to the menu. I'm sure more info is maybe needed then that and Id be willing to help as much as I can. I would be extremely grateful if this game could work on your already superior emulator.

ROM up to 10 MB (more is not possible on Genesis without bankshifting since it will collapse with Z80 memory mapped area) and this hack in particular are already supported and playable in Genesis Plus GX.

However, since those are poorly coded hacks that are not tested on anything but less accurate emulators like Gens, they do bad things that make them crash on real hardware or accurate emulators. I know the version I use works just fine , I can't swear for all the patches that they made out recently but disabling address_error and enabling force_dtack in the settings might help.

OK, I'll pass it on that it's not going to be considered.

Like I said, it should already work (At least, it always have in the stand-alone version) so they is really nothing that I could consider.
