OGG Support on LibRetro

Issue #373 duplicate
Former user created an issue

Original issue 373 created by zombie_ryushu@yahoo.com on 2014-02-16T04:52:09.000Z:

I am using the libretro build of the latest version of Genesis Plus GX, and despite all my efforts, I cannot get the libretro build to work with Ogg Vorbis. Only Wii builds will allow Vorbis, libretro will not. I would like this considered an official bug.

What efforts are you exactly talking about ? Did you succeeded in compiling the libretro build with -DUSE_LIBTREMOR ?

There is no "bug" in genesis plus gx core, ogg support work fine for me, and, as I already explained to you, it's up to retroarch to enable or disable it in the libretro core. This is done through the Makefiles and should be done on a platform basis : indeed, ibtremor relies on file i/o and has significant memory usage, i cannot test if it works fine on every platform retroarch is supporting !!

And please do not make duplicate issues, use your original report, it can still be updated if needed.
