cant get gen plus to work

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.turn wii on
2.open hbc
3.select gen plus gx 1.7.4

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
not5hing happens the screen goes black and the remote goes off and it freezes the wii

What version of the emulator are you using (official, SVN revision,...)?
latest and i even tried the older ones to see if it would change but nope

Please provide any additional information below (Emulator settings, Console
setting,...)

is a /genplus folder created at the root of your sdcard after you try to load the emulator ?
is there a config.ini and other subfolders in there ?

try to reformat your SDCARD and make sure you are putting the correct boot.dol from genplus-gx-1.7.4.7z in sd:/apps/genplus

if it still does not work, there is unfortunately nothing i can do, it works for everybody else so it's something on your side
