I assume by GX you mean a version with a better interface, right ? This is still work in progress but you can try the new GUI by downloading & compiling the current SVN code (see Compiling Wiki page).
For your information, using "GX" to distinguish between emulator versions does not means anything: all emulators have always been using GX hardware from the very first release, so technically, any emulator port to the Wii/Gamecube is a GX version. It's just that some misinformed websites thought that term would indicate a major version update, which it doesn't, emulators have always be named like that.
