games loading freezes

Hello, got a recent problem: i'm using the genesis plus gx 1.3.1 since a long time and it used to work perfectly. Recently i played a few golden axe 1 and 3, and the next day the same games (and others too) freezed during the loading files. So i loaded the last version (1.7.5) of genesis plus gx and i still got the same loading files freezed screen. What is weird is that it did like that, then it worked once, then it did it again... You'd be very kind if you had some advice to fix this disagrement, thanks!

Try to reformat or change the SD card you are using to store ROM files. Does this occur with EVERY games you load or just some of them ? If you are using zipped files, it's possible some of them got corrupted for some unknown reason and can't be opened anymore.

Since it was working in the old version then suddenly stopped working in the same version, this indicates this is likely an external hardware issue on your side rather than emulator issue. Also I never encountered this problem and did not got any similar issue reports either, so there is unfortunately nothing more I can do to help you.
