480p by default with component cable

You can replicate this using GameCube with component cable on CRT which has no 480p support.

This results in the interface not being legible. You can change the video settings for the games which is fine but not the interface.

A work around is pulling the cable out when Genesis Plus GX boots up but this is not practical.

A way to set your choice of video mode when using a component cable would be useful and resolve this problem.

You have to hold B button on startup to disable automatic progressive mode. This only needs to be done once (default mode is saved in config file)
