How to play 4 player games (like Gauntlet 4) with 4 wii remotes?

Hi Everyone, I'm trying to play Gauntlet 4 with 4 players using 4 wii remotes and can't seem to get it to work no matter what I try. Is this even possible?

I've made sure all 4 remotes are synched with the wii and turned on when I load the emulator and game, but when I go into controller settings it only shows 2 controllers? Maybe this is normal though? I've tried lots of different controller options on port 1 and port 2 and can go into Gauntlet and see that it says push the start button for 4 players, but still only the first 2 wii controlers will work. Does anybody know how I can make this work? Thanks in advance!

Please refer to Controller Settings section in provided user manual (README.pdf).

The two controller windows refer to emulated system controller ports (port A & B ), not your input controllers.

You need to set emulated controller port to multitap device (for this game, I think it requires 4-Way Play, which takes both ports A & B ) then, players 1 to 4 icons should become available on the right.

You can then click on each player icon to make input configuration window appear on the right and assign proper input device to each player (if 4 wiimotes are found registered, they should automatically be assigned to player 1, 2, etc… in registered order)
