Zombies sound bug

Issue #57 duplicate
Former user created an issue

Original [issue 57](https://code.google.com/p/genplus-gx/issues/detail?id=57) created by westonlast on 2009-12-13T21:42:48.000Z:

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Load Zombies Ate My Neighbors 2. The sound glitches towards the end of the Konami logo 3. Load Castlevania Bloodlines 4. Sound is now glitched in Castlevania

If you load Castlevania Bloodlines on its own, the sound is fine. Zombies Ate My Neighbors appears to cause this.

I'm using the latest version from SVN on the Wii. Settings: YM2612 High Quality PSG Noise Boost Off PSG 1.00 FM 1.00 Sound Filtering Off

(Otherwise, the sound is great!)

Yes, I knew about the scratchy Konami logo in Zombies (and it is quite hard to find a fix, seems to happen in all genesis emu except Kega). I didn't knew it would affect other Konami games after that though, it might help finding the cause, so thanks for the headup...

Curiously, Zombies Ate My Neighborhoods seems to have perfect audio when it stands alone (Konami logo and all), but it does make Castlevania Bloodlines' audio scratchier.

This is probably related to the general audio issue, sometime the sound will be scratchy when loading a game. It is generally fixed by returning to the menu, resetting the virtual genesis or reloading the game.
