Wii Remote affects menu input

Issue #58 invalid
Former user created an issue

Original [issue 58](https://code.google.com/p/genplus-gx/issues/detail?id=58) created by westonlast on 2009-12-13T21:51:05.000Z:

When the Wii Remote is pointed at the screen, other methods of menu control (Classic Controller, etc.) don't work until the remote is pointed off screen.

It would be nice if all menu input methods worked regardless of remote position.

I suppose you are using the version with the new GUI, right ?

When you point the Wiimote at the screen, a cursor will appear and follow wiimote aiming position in real-time so, off course it will interferes with other controllers being used at the same time, doesn't that seem logical to you ?

There is absolutely nothing I can do to prevent that (how I'm supposed to know you are using the wiimote or not ?), so just don't point the wiimote to the screen when you want to use other controllers...

The Wii Remote rests on the couch which is at the TV level, so if I'm not careful it points at the screen and interferes. It's just a little inconvenient. Not a big deal. :)

exactly, and as I said, it's just impossible to know if you are pointing it deliberately or not to the screen, the program does not have 6th sense yet :-)
