Import Linux metadata file here
Hi,
As you might know, our Flatpak package ships with this metadata file, which contains many information about the app.
So, I wanted to ask what are your thoughts on moving that file here? It’s not a file format exclusive to the Flatpak package, so other packaging formats (snap, deb, etc.) will likely benefit from it as well.
Flathub contributors/collaborators recommend that this file is maintained on the upstream project, too.
The only thing you’ll need to before a new release, is to add a new <release>
tag under the existing <releases>
tag, like this.
Let me know what you think!

repo owner Hi Guilherme
It is totally fine with me. Where do you think I should locate this file? Just right in the root of the repo?

repo owner I’ve just released version 4.4.0 and, at the moment, I have imported the metadata file into my repository (at root level). Let me know if you think this is the right location. Thanks!
