.TH PCW 1 pcw-VERSION
pcw \- popup chat windows
uses inotify to monitor a directory tree (created by ii) and open terminals running cw with the in and out files for each channel.
By default pcw depends on srw to wrap cw for better line editing, but this can be changed by editing pcw_win.sh.
uses inotify to monitor a file and write changes to stdout as they happen, and sends text written on stdin to another file.
It's meant for use with pcw and ii, but may come in handy elsewhere.
.OP \-n nick
the root of the directory tree to monitor (ii defaults to ~/irc)
the file to monitor and print changes to stdout
the file to write user input to
.BI \-n " nick"
set the nickname for use with the external command
print version information and exit
pcw will initially run the command for each channel you are in
when pcw receives SIGUSR1 it runs the command for each channel you are in that does not currently have a running command
when cw receives SIGWINCH it clears the screen and reprints the infile (useful with srw, hit C\-l if the terminal cuts off text after being resized)
