We have the following roles defined in the system -

need to adjust to add Financial Auditor and Curriculum Developer

Financial Auditor The financial Auditor has 3 steps:

Add Learners (from Admin > Administer Learning interface)
Export (from Admin > Administer Learning interface)
Reports (from Review > Learning Programmes)

Curriculum Developer
The Curriculum Developer has 6 steps

Learning Resources (from Library > Learning Resources)
Programmes (from Admin > Administer Learning Interface - Add "Clone and "Disable" link to this table)
Assign Learning
This is a new table with the following headings
ID, Programme Name, Type, Category, Number of Learners Add an "Assign Learners" link to each programme. this leads to this screen ...

    Default Descriptions for Various Roles:

    These roles should be provided with every default database and have the following descriptions

    Trainee The trainee undertakes programmes of learning and submits work using the 'Netflix style' interface.

    Coach/Trainer The coach/trainer is responsible for trainee's development. This role requires the reviewing of submitted work and guides the student through their programme of learning.

    Curriculum Developer The curriculum developer creates and curates learning resources and compiles them into scheduled programmes of learning for the students to undertake.

    Quality Assurer The QA analyses the learning process - highlighting work that requires discussion or further adaptation to verify that the work meets the required quality standards.

    Financial Auditor The financial auditor is responsible for drawing down funds for the training and submits validated ILR reports to the government.

    Administrator The system administrator sets up the entire system, importing users and setting defaults. This user has access to all functionality.

    Applied/Added default roles for Trainee, Coach/Trainer and Administrator for now.
    Any role without image/description will have default one applied.

    Will add other roles eventually.

    Should QA, FA and CD be on all installation types.
    Should I create roles depending on installation type?

    Implemented, this resulted in huge code change.
    Tested as mush as I could but impact is system wide.
    Around 50 files were changes/added.
    Lots of new logic for different roles put into system calls.

    Updated Create site.

    Can you add the following captions

    1) Review Coach/Trainer workload and add/remove learners as necessary. 2) Change learning defaults such as categories, providers and branding. 3) Review comments from learners on your training, feed this back into learning design.

    With Financial Auditor ...

    1) Change to "Import Individual Learner Records (ILRs) from the Hub or 3rd-party software" 2) Add [+Import Users] button 3) Change to "Send ILR data to the Hub or FIS" 4) Change to "Print financial reports and export data"
