A review of programme use over a number of sites has shown that a lot of functionality around the core offering is simply not used. To this end we need to make changes to the programme to improve the design.
Make Meetings Optional
Can we add an isMeetings option to the System Setup > Defaults > Configuration options and make default to false (users can opt to activate this or turn it back on if they wish.)
Having this as false will remove it from the toolbar of Coach/Trainer
and Quality Assurer
You also need to remove this option from the Manager/QA ...
and from learner ...
It looks like this Classroom functionality is also little used. Again we should default this option to be off in System Setup > Defaults > Configuration but can turn if on if needed.
If Off then can we remove this option from Admin and Coach/Trainer
and this option from Resources
Pending Assessments & Skill Scans
These will be used like crazy by some clients but ignored by others. Can we add a routine that will search for content in both and remove these menu items if there is nothing contained therein (as shown).
Such changes needed for all versions (SMCR/OpenElms/Apprentix) of Coach/Trainers (Pending Assessments and Skill Scans) and Quality Assessors (skill scan only)
