Issue #881 resolved
Emil Reisser-Weston created an issue

Is there a way we can turn this off (everything encircled) for the system. It should be a configuration issue which defaults to off (i.e. people should not be able to get hold of youtube URLs by default.)

There is no such option for configuring embedded youtube videos. Still, this can be achieved if disable any mouse events for the video (i.e. clicking on the video will not change anything). However, if we do this, people will not be able to start/stop the video using the mouse. We can fix this by adding extra buttons, such as ‘play’ and ‘stop’, next to the ‘close’ button. Let me know if you want me to do this. Mind that such a change might violate some youtube regulations (I’ve not checked but read something about this in the forums).

OK - can we make this a configuration option and add the buttons. Default this to being not active (i.e. Youtube will work as it does currently) - but I know some clients will want this functionality.

Done, committed to repo and set up at create site. The configuration option is 'disableYoutubeClicks' . The default is false, which means that if this option is not set up trainees will be able to stop/start the videos by clicking on them.
