MODSIM under Mono

I am wondering if MODSIM is capable of being employed under Mono framework in *nix/Mac OS?

The model engine should be able to work with Mono, however for 8.5.1 the dependency on access for the output format could be the show stopper. We are working on a new version that will support SQLite output format that it should be compatible with Linux/Mac OS. The graphical interface is not likely to be compatible with Mac OS.

Thank you very much for the answer. It would be great if a prospective date of the new release could be announced, as our team is eager to deploy MODSIM into a HPC cluster to scale up model simulations.
