what is resonable value of channel loss coefficient ?

Hello. a few years ago, I simulated the water planning of Dam reservoir outflow and detention in Korea.

in then, I did not applicated a value of channel loss coefficient of link in Dam discharge. Because our country is not yet an application about this... i think it is needed to enter a resonable value in MODSIM model .

so, normally, which is recommendable of this channel loss cofficient in your country ?. sincerely,^^

It depends on the type of channel (natural, man made (earth or lined). Values can be specified as a percent of the flow.
