Can't install MODSIM
I downloaded the model package (MODSIM_Setup_8.5.0_32bit.man) in my computer, but could not install it. The downloaded package has a .man extension, which I haven’t seen before. What do I need to do next? Thanks

Not sure why it has a .man extension. Try changing the extension to .msi.
-
reporter That worked. Thank you
-
No problem. Hopefully @engr_csu can work with you to fix why it downloaded with a .man extension in the first place, likely some server configuration error at CSU.
-
reporter Sure. Let me know if you want me to do anything.
-
Just curious. What internet browser did you use that downloaded a *.man file? If it's reproducible that will help @engr_csu.
-
reporter I am using Internet Explorer 11
-
Issue confirmed. Internet Explorer 11 downloads the MODSIM installer with a .man extension. This does not happen with either Chrome or Firefox.

Rajaa, we think this issue has been resolved. Could you please try to download again with Internet Explorer 11?
-
reporter It seems that now I can't even download the zip file
-
That looks like an old version of the website page. Please try refreshing your browser to here: http://modsim.engr.colostate.edu/modsim.php and trying to download MODSIM 8.5.0. Thanks.
-
reporter Now it is working great. Thanks
