CookieDisclosure::getInstance()->areCookiesAllowed() not working after upgrade

if (\Concrete\Package\EuCookieLaw\Src\CookieDisclosure::getInstance()->areCookiesAllowed()) {
    // do something ...
}

The above php has stopped working ag=fter updating to the latest version yesterday.

Previously worked without a problem.
