Page doesn't display properly

Issue #1 resolved
Paul Schneider created an issue

I turned on the Minify option and the home page had CSS issues on my site.

This is what the site looks like with the option turned on: https://newsite.aircarecolorado.com/

Attached is what it looks like when I turned it on.

Obviously not good - suggestions?

Please disable the add-on and check if the original markup is valid HTML, JavaScript + CSS. You can read more about this in the pages FAQ and Troubleshooting. I can see that a JavaScript occurs on your page. In most cases it's just a missing semicolon at the end of a line. After fixing the code issues the add-on will run without any problems.

I think you are manipulating the DOM by JavaScript and because of a small script error the script stops and in result the style breaks.

Hi Fabian, I've still not been able to resolve this issue. Ideally you could add an option where I could indicate a specific page to NOT use the tool, while other pages would all use it. If this can't be done, I'll need to ask for a refund.

Hello Paul. Please uninstall the add-on, download the latest version (version 1.0.3) and reinstall the add-on. After installing you will find a new page attribute called "Disable HTML Beautifier". You can apply this attribute to disable the functionallity for the selected pages. But in general you should fix the specific pages and use valid HTML + JS code instead of disabling the functionality for this pages, because this is the root of this problem. Fabian
