Multi HTML File Selector Question

Hi, I purchased this addon a while back. I'm using concrete 5.8.1 and one of the issues that I seem to be having is that file uploads are ok, but there is a long delay after the upload is complete before the customer gets a notice that the upload is done. After poking around I discovered that the File Manager has this same issue (at least with my installation). After some testing it seems that thumbnail generation after the file is uploaded is somehow delaying the notification to the user that the file is uploaded, not sure why.

I can prevent thumbnail generation based on File Set so I would like to is have the ability to specify a file set for customer uploads using your addon. Does this capability exist, if not is there an way that I can add this functionality so that I can at least test it out and see if it improves my problem here.
