Compatibility error during compiling process KeePassVeraCryptMount 1.0.2.plgx
Hello, I am using the latest portable KeePass version 3.25. After unzipping the KeePassVeraCryptMount.plgx into the KeePass plugin directory and starting Keepass, the compiler throws an error with the message, that the plugin may not be suitable to the KeePass version. The plugin itself won't show up in the overview panel.
I tried both versions (1.0.1.0 & 1.0.2.0) and both of them throw the compiler error.
By the way: I then tried the KeePass Installer version 3.25, and the plugin worked fine.
My KeePass settings:
KeePass 3.25 portable loads a password.kdbx file from a password restricted area on my network.
Other plugins installed (all latest builds):
- KeePassFaviconDownloader.plgx
- KeePassHttp.plgx
- KeepassVeraCryptMount.plgx
- KeepassVeraCryptAutoDismount.plgx
- KPEnhancedListview.plgx
I have uploaded a screenshot of the error message which might help.
Cheers and thanks in advance!
Rob

reporter Oh yeah, sorry :-) you're right... Seem to have flip-flopped the digits... 2.35 ist the version.
The KeePass version was downloaded from the developers site keepass.info - to be exact, I downloaded the portable pro version there.
But just wait a second... let me have a closer look at the permission, granted to KeePass... maybe that might be the problem....
I'll give you an update soon.. and thanks a lot for your lightning fast response!! :-)
Cheers, mate...

reporter Hello Frédéric,
well, the folder permissions for KeePass were alright. I then tried the .msi packaged KeePass v2.35 from SourceForge https://sourceforge.net/projects/keepass/files/KeePass%202.x/2.35/KeePass-2.35.msi/download. Well, with this version everything went fine again. No compiler error. I am on Win10 1703, by the way.
Cheers Robert

Cannot be reproduced. Probably an issue on the host on which it was been compiled at first run.

Hello Robert,
Just downloaded KeePass Portable 2.35 (there is no version 3.25) and unzipped on a windows 10 machine that never ran KeePass. I did add the following plugin : 1. KeepassVeraCryptMount.plgx 2. KeepassVeraCryptAutoDismount.plgx 3. KeeOtp.plgx
and compilation of the plugin is fine.
Can you confirm the version of KeePass portable you have (where did you get it from ?) and the os version you are using (32 or 64 bit).
