Hi, Fidel! Per our conversation yesterday, I'm still having some issues getting this formula right. We're trying to do this:

((((A1-S1)V1)TR1)+(((A2-S2)V2)TR2)+...(((A10-S10)V2)TR2))/10

Each expression of (((A1-S1)V1)TR1) must be rounded up using ceil(value X). This is what we came up with before we crashed JIRA:

(ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10017})-numberOfSelectedItems({10017})).141)3))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10018})-numberOfSelectedItems({10018})).141)2))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10019})-numberOfSelectedItems({10019})).2)4))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10020})-numberOfSelectedItems({10020})).167)3))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10021})-numberOfSelectedItems({10021})).2)5))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10022})-numberOfSelectedItems({10022})).141)5))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10023})-numberOfSelectedItems({10023})).141)4))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10024})-numberOfSelectedItems({10024})).25)4))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10025})-numberOfSelectedItems({10025)).141)4))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10026})-numberOfSelectedItems({10026})).167)2))))/10

Does this look right? Am I way off? am I asking it to do too much? Thanks! -a

    Also, there were the asterisks in there, but it looks like they were stripped out when it was submitted. Pretend they are there. :)

    The problem is that you should insert multiplication operator '*'.

    In you case I don't know whether by .141 you mean "0.141" or "multiplication by 141".

    In the first case you should use the following expression:

    (ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10017})-numberOfSelectedItems({10017}))*.141)*3))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10018})-numberOfSelectedItems({10018}))*.141)*2))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10019})-numberOfSelectedItems({10019}))*.2)*4))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10020})-numberOfSelectedItems({10020}))*.167)*3))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10021})-numberOfSelectedItems({10021}))*.2)*5))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10022})-numberOfSelectedItems({10022}))*.141)*5))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10023})-numberOfSelectedItems({10023}))*.141)*4))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10024})-numberOfSelectedItems({10024}))*.25)*4))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10025})-numberOfSelectedItems({10025))*.141)*4))+ceil((((numberOfAvailableItems({10026})-numberOfSelectedItems({10026}))*.167)*2))))/10
    

    In the second case you should use:
