Set Issue Types Based off Subject Line in Post Function

Hi we're trying to set an issue type based off a string match in the subject and it works for updating fields but is there any way to do the match and update the issue type?

Sorry Leonard, but currently issue type is not a virtual field suitable to be updated by the plugin. It would be a great functionality for a future version, but it's no easy to implement. I will try to do it.

Ok no problem, I think we'll just have to use separate mail handlers to address dealing with multiple issue types until this becomes a feature. Thanks for the quick response.
