numberOfRemoteIssueLinks Validator throws an error when there is a Web Link (links to)

I'm using the numberOfRemoteIssueLinks validator to determine if there is at least one Confluence Page (Wiki Page) and it works fine until a Web Link (links to) link is added to the issue. This error appears on the transition screen:

An unknown exception occured executing Validator com.atlassian.jira.workflow.SkippableValidator@12d60990: root cause: java.lang.NullPointerException

The bug has been fixed in version 2.2.2_beta_6.

The new stable version will available in 2 weeks or earlier.
