"Only user in custom field" Condition To Transition doesn't work as expected

Issue #23 resolved
Vidic Florjan created an issue

Condition "Only user in custom field" doesn't work as expected after migration from jira 5.2.2 to 6.1.3. The problem is related with custom fields which have username values with Capital letters. I suppose that new jira has capability to rename users and works with users differently. (All works fine if username has only small letters.)

We have a lot of workflows prepared in such way that is only possible to see transition button and change to different status if username is written in proper custom field. We achieve this with "Only user in custom field" condition. After upgrade a lot of our users are not capable to see transition buttons (they have capital letters in username).

Regards, Florjan Vidic

Additional comment: Other plugins with this functionality work fine.

jira version: 6.1.3 JIRA Workflow Toolbox version: 2.1.11

You have available version 2.1.12_beta_2 which solves the problem. Please, tell me if it fixes your problem. I will release the stable version in a week.

Yes, it works now! We will go through more test cases tomorrow.

How high is the risk of using beta version in production environment?

    Thank you, Florjan
