Hi,

i have one requirement,

I have Task and subtask issues, version is the field in main task as well sub task,

if i edit version value in main task, it should change in subtask as well.

i wanted to write post function in workflow but how take field id,

please suggest on the same

Hi Savita,

You can use post-function "Write field on linked issues or subtasks" choosing "field in current issue" as source type, and selecting the desired field (version) at parameters source and target fields.

Is the field a Version Picker custom field, or any of the fields Affected versions or Fixed versions?

That field is dropdown, not text or number field, tht field is not visible in source field.

Can you please attach a screenshot of the field configuration? You should navigate to Administration > Issue > Custom fields. I would like to see the Type of the field.

There isn't any file attached to the issue, as you can check yourself. Please, send the screenshots to [e-mail], since it seems you keep having problems to attach files to the issue.

Is it possible that you update the plugin to version 2.2.6? This new version has a search box in all the dropdown field selectors, so it's very easy to find any field.

For copying "Affected versions" from parent issue to subtasks use Write field on linked issues or subtasks with the following configuration:

For copying "Fixed versions" you simply have to select that field in parameters "Source value" and "Target field".
