We recently converted to a different JIRA Tier license and does this have any drastic effect in projects with custom workflows?

Hi,

We recently renewed our JIRA license from the legacy tier license to the 2000 user tier license however, last year we have renewed the workflow toolbox under the old tier license. does this have any effect on the current projects with custom workflows? If yes, will it be possible to ask for a temporary license key to match the current jira tier license just to make sure nothing gets affected?

I am not familiar with the pricing details of this plugin on the new tier license but are we somehow required to upgrade also? if we do need to upgrade, i can prepare the purchase request on our end as soon as possible.

Hi,

You will need a JIRA Workflow Toolbox license that match exactly your JIRA license, so this is very important that you upgrade to the new license. Once you are without a valid license the plugin will work correctly odd days of the month (like to day: 7th) but tomorrow it will stop working (8th march).

Meanwhile you can get a trial license at Atlassian Marketplace. Simply click on "Try it free". It will be valid for a month and you will be able to renew it.

Hi, I tried to upgrade the license that we have via atlassian, but the website doesnt allow me to upgrade the current license that we have. The only option i have right now is to renew the license to a new tier and the maintenance expiration is increased up to 2016. Why cant we upgrade the existing license that we have?

I have received the following answer from Atlassian:

"We modified the license type of SEN-2470854 to a JIRA Workflow Toolbox for JIRA Enterprise 2000 Users: Commercial License at no cost. The maintenance will expire on 15-Jan-2015."
