Assign the Assignee to UnAssigned

Is there a way to remove the Assignee to nothing (null) and assign it to Unassigned?

You can do it using "Copy a parsed text to a field" post-function with the following configuration:

• Target field: Assignee
• Parsing mode: basic
• Text to be parsed: unassigned

I tried the solution, but for some reason I cannot click into the "Text to be parsed" area. Therefore, I cannot type anything in there. Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

I don't have any idea about the possible cause. Which browser are you using? Please, check that you have javascript enabled.

Please, try using Firefox or Chrome.

Try using the following alternative solution: use "Set field as a function of other fields" post-function with the following configuration:

• Field to be checked...: Summary
• Target field: Assignee
• Setting rules: (.*)unassigned

The web browser that I was using was Internet Explorer 11. When I switched to Chrome, I was able to type in the "Text to be parsed" area.
