Possible to parse attachment information?

Hi,

Is it possible, using a Jira Workflow Toolbox post function, to extract data from attachments that are added during the transition? For instance, exif data for images, or other metadata such as author of pdf documents, etc. We could then parse this data and copy it into other fields.
