Please assist. I have installed ti and trying to use it with my Jira Servicedesk workflow configuration but I dont know how to access the tool.

This is the scenario I am trying to create - "if issue in an actual status of X, Y or F, then the meta-status is engineering"

Hi Jen,

JIRA Workflow Toolbox provides a set of conditions, validators and post-functions which are available when editing a workflow in JIRA.

When editing a transition in your workflows, you will see 3 tabs: Conditions, Validations and Post-functions. The features provided by the plugin are available at these 3 tabs.

In relation with your scenario, I need some extra information:

• Are you trying to implement a validation, i.e., blocking a transition when described condition is not satisfied?
• Is meta-status a custom field? Which type of custom field?
• Is 'Engineering' an option of the custom field, i.e., a possible value of the custom field?
