repo owner Which validator feature are you using?
Can you please confirm the version of JIRA Workflow Toolbox (2.2.15)?

Account Deactivated reporter I am using the "Boolean validator with math, date-time or text-string terms" to check if one of three fields have been initialized - this feature is working great
I can confirm that I had the same problem in 2.1.31 so I updated to 2.2.15 in hopes of resolving this but I am still having trouble.

repo owner Andrew, the style applied to failure messages shown by validators is provided by JIRA itself. The plugins has nothing to do with that.
I have tried to reproduce your problem, but I'm not able to do that. I show you a screenshot generated by JIRA 6.4.13:
I have also tried with JIRA 6.2.3 and 7.1.9 with similar results.
Do you have any kind of look and feel personalization in your JIRA instance that might be causing it?
