issue linking does not work in create issues and subtasks

when using the "Create Issues and subtasks" postfunction in JIRA and choose to link the new issue to the current issue, the issue link will not be created.

• is there a way to copy the issues original attachments and comments to the new issue?

I can't reproduce your problem. Please, try moving "Create issues and subtasks" post-function to first position in execution order.

If it doesn't solve the problem, please, check your log file for error messages.

The error messages in the log file doesn't correspond to version 2.2.32, as stated by the version selected in the issue. Please, tell me the versions installed in the test and production environment.

i found the "Bug" by myself. It has nothing to do with the "Create issues and subtask" postfunction.

I had a mailfunctioning postfunction in the "create issue" transition in the workflow the new issue is created. This made the issue linking fail. Hope it didn't take to much of your time.
