Dear Support,
We have been having major incidents on Jira server using the JIRA Workflow Toolbox plugin. We have an issues created on Jira with 310 sub tasks attached to it. It seems like the plugin is not able to handle the issue and making the system unresponsive and crashing the system. We are available round the clock (24/7) . Account Deactivated @fcarmario from the heap dump we can see the following class took significant amount of 9GB (3 objects x 3GB each)
at com.fca.jira.plugins.workflowToolbox.JQLCondition.passesCondition(JQLCondition.java:84) at com.atlassian.jira.plugin.workflow.WorkflowConditionModuleDescriptor$SafeConditionPlugin.passesCondition(WorkflowConditionModuleDescriptor.java:94)
We have disabled few modules: JQL condition and JQL validator and the instance is now stable, BUT this also means users are not able to transition issues which workflow contain this condition/validation.
Sridhar should be able to provide the export of workflow in 'NM' project for further investigation

repo owner Hi @vkharisma,
Can you, please, show the whole stack dump corresponding to the error message? I need to see all the lines above the 2 ones you added in your previous post.
Can you, please, also attach screenshots with the configurations of the condition and validation you have disabled? Maybe I will be able to give you an alternative one that doesn't cause the same problem.

repo owner Hi @vkharisma,
The version of JIRA Workflow Toolbox you are using (2.1.33) is very, very old. 41 versions of the plugin have been released after it. I think that the bug that is causing your problem was solved in version 2.2.3 or 2.2.23.
Please, try updating to the most recent version of the plugin 2.2.36.
That version is compatible with JIRA 6.2.3 to 7.3.6. In case you can't because you are using an older version of JIRA, please, provide me the configuration of the JQL condition that is causing the problem, and I will give you an equivalent alternative that will not cause the problem.
