italics and spacing/line markers
Hello @fcarmario:
Is there a way to make certain words in paragraph italicized we well as part of the paragraph indented?
For example: I'd like the following paragraph to display as is in the "Set a field as a function of other fields Function for this transition".
(see screenshot)
Thank you,
Scott McDonald

reporter Perfect!
How about indentations and line breaks?
-
repo owner Hi @scottjmcdonald,
This is the official documentation for JIRA's wiki markup.
-
reporter I'm getting some of those to work but some do not. I still can't get the indentations (# a # numbered # with # nested #* bullet # list)
to works. Thoughts?

reporter I think I found a solution. Disregard previous message. thank you.

repo owner Hi @scottjmcdonald,
The text of your previous message is difficult to read. Can you, please, attach some screenshots of the configuration of the post-function and the result obtained?
When writing code, boolean expressions, setting rules, etc., please, write it inside a code area. The next screenshot shows where is the button for entering code:

reporter Hello -
Attached are three screenshots - requirements for view on ticket creation (what I want to see in the ticket description), the code I have in my post-function and then the results I'm receiving on ticket creation. Hopefully those all help.

repo owner Hi @scottjmcdonald,
Try composing the text in issue Description field using Visual mode, and then obtain the wiki format by clicking in Text tab. Look at the screenshots:

TEXT MODE
I recommend you to use "Copy a parsed text to a field" post-function instead of "Set a field as a function of other fields" like shown in the screenshot:
Boolean expression at Conditional execution parameter is
%{00014} = "Stand Up"
, where%{00014}
is field code for Issue type. -
reporter That looks a lot better!!!! Thank you!

You should use
_jane.smith_
. Character_
is used in JIRA's wiki format to put text in italics.
