JIRA Workflow Toolbox not working properly with incoming email

I have a JWT post function on a Create transition that adds Watchers to a JIRA issue. This workflow works as intended if I create the issue using JIRA's "Create" button. However, the issues for this project are created via an "Incoming Mail" setting. The issues generated in this manner do not have watchers added based upon the post function.

    Hi @asiit,

    I have tried to reproduce your problem on JIRA 7.4.2 and JWT 2.2.40, and it works correctly. I have used the following configuration:

    And the following mail handler:

    When a Bug issue type is created, the 4 watchers are added. When I modify the issue type in the mail handler, selecting Improvement as issue type instead of Bug, then none of the 4 watchers are added.

    Which versions of JIRA and JWT are you using?
