Issue #745 resolved
Sri Chimata created an issue

Hi Support,

We do use your Jira Workflow Toolbox and use your Email Post-function. In our Jira Service Desk system (v3.3.2), it is sporadically failing on the Email Body Rendering and below is an example. Do you know why this is happening??

It has become a P1 right now. Can you pl. help us? You can directly write to me at srini.chimata@samsonite.com or call me at 510 468 9057.

    Hi @schimata2,

Can you, please, attach a screenshot of your post-function's configuration, and screenshots of a correctly rendered and a bad rendered email?

You can send the emails screenshots to support@workflowarts.com, if they content confidential data.

    Hi @schimata2,

It's very strange. After carefully examining the code of the add-on, I don't find how a message can be parsed as shown in your bad email screenshot.

It would be great if you could give me some additional clues:

    1. When stated happening the problem?
    2. How may times, or how frequently does it happen?
    3. Does it happens in other usages of Send an email post-function?
    4. Please, attach a screenshot of the post-function's tab where you have inserted the post-function. I need to see the whole post-function's configuration and which other post-functions are being executed before and after the post-function.

    Thanks
