Creating subtask not assigning issue to user specified
Hello -
I've added a post-function to create a sub-task, however, it's not assigning the ticket the users specified. It is assigning to me rather, which I don't want.
I've added a screenshot for your convenience.
Thank you,
Scott

reporter Hello -
I have added this user to the project Admin role, which has access to every function in the project, however, the ticket isn't being assigned to that specific user on create.
I am using JIRA 7.3.1

repo owner Hi @scottjmcdonald,
Please, Administration project role may not have "Assign issue" permission. Please, double that the project role has that permission in the specific project you are testing the workflow.
Try assigning the issue manually to user john.doe after being created. If you can, the undoubtedly it has the needed permissions.
If it doesn't explain your problem, the, please, send me your server's log file to support@workflowarts.com.

repo owner Hi @scottjmcdonald,
Sorry for the delay in my response. Your log files doesn't show anything related with JIRA Workflow Toolbox.
I don't have any clues about the cause of your problem, since I'm not able to reproduce it.
I would like to see the problem in direct. Can we have a screen-share through Skype? My Skype user is fidel100r. I will be available for the next hour, i.e., until 21:30 UTC.

reporter Hi Fidel -
I don't have the opportunity to meet today - I can send you additional screenshots later tonight if that would help or we can try and schedule something tomorrow?
Thank you,
Scott

repo owner Please, check that
john.doe
is the actual username of a real user (not to be confused with user's full name). Please, ensure that there isn't any typo. -

Hi @scottjmcdonald,
I have tried a configuration similar to yours, using JIRA 7.4.3 on JWT 2.2.37 and it works correctly.
Please, double check that user john.doe has permissions to get issues assigned in current issue's project.
