Restrict users from submitting subtask

We looking for a way to restrict users from submitting subtask when the issue at the “Approved” state. While looking further into JWT validator in the transition workflow, I still can find this feature. Would you be able to show us how?

Hi @chaunguyen1997,

You can do it by inserting Boolean validator with math, date-time or text-string terms in transition Create Issue of sub-task's workflow with the following boolean expression:

%{00042} != "Approved"

where %{00042} is field code for Parent's issue status.
