Ability to move subtask to another parent

We need to be able to close an issue even if a subtask is not done In this case remaining work on open subtasks have to be moved to another parent

Having a post function to change parent of a subtask would be nice

Thank you for the suggestion. We will study the possibility to implement that post-function.

Meanwhile, I propose you to use "Create issues and subtasks" post-function to create a new sub-task in the new parent, inheriting field values from original sub-task. You can also create a link from the new sub-task to the original sub-task, which could be closed with a custom resolution like "Transferred".

Yes we have already implemented that solution, but ideally moving subtasks to a new parent requires less configuration. :-)
