JIRA Workflow Toolbox - Trial installation

Issue #97 resolved
RT created an issue

JIRA Version 6.3.1.10 Plugin Version 2.1.25

The field Project Watchers will be set according to the evaluation of Project / Discipline against the following set of rules: (OpenStack)Rouault, Jason (Enterprise)Polak, Joe (Tech-Ops)Bangarbale, Govind (Vmware)Barnhill, Glenn

I get no errors when trying to implement but when I add a workflow I get an error

Error creating issue: Error occurred while creating issue. This could be due to a plugin being incompatible with this version of JIRA. For more details please consult the logs, and see: http://confluence.atlassian.com/x/3McB**

    Hi Robert,

I can't download the .tiff files you attached to the issue. It seems that Bitbucket doesn't like that format. Do you mind to convert them to JPG or PNG formats and re-upload them?

Can you please attach a screenshot with configuration of transition "Create Issue"? Only post-function's tab is needed.

    Thanks,

    Fidel

Thanks again, but I need a screenshot to see all the post-functions that are being executed in transition "Create Issue", and the order of execution.

The cause must be that post-function "Creates the issue originally" have to be executed in first place. Try simply moving it up in execution order.

Field "Project Watchers" that you have selected in parameter "Target field to be set", is not provided by JIRA Workflow Toolbox. I suppose that you have another plugin installed that is providing that field, and which is causing the problem. Can you please tell me which plugin is this?

Anyway, to solve the problem you only need to select virtual field "Watchers" in parameter "Target field to be set". That field is provided by JIRA Workflow Toolbox.

That appears to have fixed the error - however nothing is being set based on the criteria that is set.

The options are a dropdown for OpenStack, Enterprise and want watchers to be set based not the response. Right now it only appears that I am set as a watcher when I create the ticket.

Disregard - I did something stupid - updated the rule but did not publish the workflow - looks like everything is working.
