Expression default degree vanished

Hi,

since I swiched to FEniCS 2016.2 the default degree=1 for Expression seems to be discarded. This leads to a large number of necessary changes in our code, where the default degree has been used.

maybe there should be a way to somehow set the default value again.

This was a conscious choice which was deeply discussed in the community. You had an opportunity to join the discussion at that time.

Certainly there must be other means of reducing code duplication in your code.
