Confusion with Function.eval and/or Function.eval_cell
Essentially I found it quite difficult to resolve my problem, detailed in my comments here: https://fenicsproject.org/qa/596/setting-condition-for-mesh-refinement?show=599#a599
A similar issue was classified as a bug here: https://bitbucket.org/fenics-project/dolfin/issues/68/function__call__-point-does-not-work
But maybe this is the intended behavior for eval/eval_cell. If so, is there some way to document this more transparently? Particularly I find the Q&A discussion from 2013 (my first link) misleading.

reporter Thanks for the advice.
Is there a specific way for me to raise issues about documentation? Better yet, is there a way for me to contribute to documentation? As I come across things that I find difficult, I thought there might be a way to help others that might have similar problems in the future.

A way to raise an issue is that it needs to be enough specific rather than something is difficult or I can't get it working.
As of contributing, open a pull request with a specific feature/fix. See also https://fenics.readthedocs.io/projects/dolfin/en/latest/contributing.html.

This is hardly a bug report we could use to work on some specific issue. Bug reports need to clearly define a problem and eventually contain MWE.
To get help on Q&A, provide MWE too to increase chanches getting helped.
