tschirp -- a completely useless Twitter clone
tschirp is a very basic microblogging app -- like Twitter, only useless. It was
just a small project for me to play with some Javascript. Thought I might as
well just put it up somewhere.

The server-side part is written in Python [1] targetting Google App Engine [2],
using the Bottle micro-framework [3]. The client side is HTML5, CSS, Javascript
and jQuery [4].

If you have the App Engine Python SDK [2] installed, run tschirp on the dev
server with

$ dev_appserver.py <tschirp-directory>

and visit http://localhost:8080 in your browser.

To run the unit tests, you'll also need to have nose [5] and the nose-gae
plugin [6] installed. Then run

$ nosetests --with-gae --gae-lib-root=<appengine-sdk-root> <tschirp-directory>
