Arduino and ESP8266 NodeMCU V1 ESP-12Ewifi module

Issue #73 new
Former user created an issue

I'm approaching ESP8266 NodeMCU programming with arduino IDE and I found problem. Using as example HelloWorld_I2C and symply with substitution of LCD I2C address

LiquidCrystal_I2C lcd(0x3F, 2, 1, 0, 4, 5, 6, 7, 3, POSITIVE);

with arduino uno the example correctly work with ESP8266 NodeMCU V1 ESP-12Ewifi, unfortunately, I'm eperienced with a compiling error

same error are available using Arduino:1.6.12 ide and Arduino:1.6.13 ide

Arduino:1.8.0 (Linux), Scheda:"NodeMCU 1.0 (ESP-12E Module), 80 MHz, 115200, 4M (3M SPIFFS)"

    SR1W not supported on the ESP platform. As a matter of fact, the ESP platform has not been tested with this distribution at all.

    You ca get around the problem by: - not using the FAST_IO compilation flag in the project. - Removing the files *_SR1W.cpp and hpp.

    This is going to be moved as a feature enhancement.
